The PACE Centre - It's Challenge Time 2009 · 31 December 2009 ·

We want every child in the UK with a neurodisability like cerebral palsy - and their families - to have access to learning and life changing therapy, aligned with our Pace approach. Our specialist clinical, education and therapy teams work with babies, children & young people from 0-18.

Story

Haidee: Well, where to begin.......  Is it  my fear of sharks, drowning or the continuous inspiration I receive from the children and their families of Pace on a daily basis which has led me to take part in this.........  deep breath........challenge!

Having work at "The Pace Centre" for nearly nine years, I thought it was about time to face my fears and help support the children in a way which is challenging to myself.  Working with children who's physical difficulties challenge their every day activities, I have watched them achieve their full potential through their dedication and motivation in reaching their goals: whether it be taking a few steps, communicating their feelings or reaching out towards a loved one.

David: Obviously being a bloke, I havent got as much to say as Haidee, but having met some of the children at Pace, I am inspired to help them by taking part in this challenge.

So............, your generous donation (and we know you will be generous) will help these children continue their learning to maximise their potential to enable them to enjoy everyday life.
