Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

This year, the fearless foursome will once again put stupidity and high jinks before sense by paricipating in the Extra Mile Cote D'or Challenge. 800 km in three days - yikes!

The team will have to climb every mountain, ford many streams, follow many highways and low-ways, even follow rainbows until we find our dreams - rest, beer and hopefully plenty of money raised for our charities.

The team is made up of Peter "Eric" Galliford, Tim "Beast" Batson, Pete "Splash" Cox and Colin "Goat" Tidd.

The Hairy Test Cycles will be raising money for one charity principally - two thirds of the funds we raise will go to Cyclists Fighting Cancer. The remainder, through the Extra Mile Charity , will go to St John's Ambulance, Willen Hospice and East Anglian Air Ambulance.

Last year, as a team, we raised over £7,000 for our charities and Extra Mile passed the £1m mark for money raised over the last 10 years.

If you would care to support these fools and their bikes but more importantly the very worthwhile charities, they and we would be very grateful. Thank you!
