Halcrow Yolles - Shortlands Walk · 5 September 2009

It aims to alleviate sickness and suffering around the world, caused by natural disaster or as a result of people’s social or economic circumstances. This is achieved through the development of education, social services, the improvement of infrastructure, and the promotion of self-help activities.

Story

Dear All,

We are walking 21miles on South West path from Elwell to West Bexington, via Hardy’s Memorial in Dorset.

We know everyone is stretched for funds at the moment, but we are hoping to raise at least £1000.00 for our efforts.  Every small contribution will make a difference to the Halcrow Foundation, and hopefully make a difference to someone's life.

The Halcrow Foundation aims to alleviate poverty and suffering around the world caused by natural disaster or as a result of people’s social and economic conditions. It does this through the development of education, health and other social services, the improvement of transport infrastructure, water supplies and other communal facilities and the promotion of self help activities.
