Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am here to raise money for a young girl named Sadie Rose Clifford who at just 14 months old was diagnosed with a childhood Cancer called Neuroblastoma. Since 2010 Sadie has had to endure a lot of chemotherapy sessions in the UK and unfortunately the tumor has grown again which means a life saving trip to America is needed with the treatment costing £500,000. You can read more about the appeal, treatment and Sadie's battle here:  http://www.sadierosecliffordappeal.co.uk/default.html

How I'm going to help:

Well I am currently in New Zealand, which is known for being a Country which loves 'extreme sports'. So I am going to do a 16,000ft Skydive in the Bay of Islands on Friday 17th February! Anyone that knows me, knows I am one of the biggest wimps and only last year did I stop being scared of cats and learn to like dogs! The thought of going to a theme park makes me feel sick and I would be only there to hold people's bags - I am that scared!

So this leap is going to be a challenge for me, freefalling for a minute at speeds of 120mph - makes the thought of 'The Ultimate' (seriously that's probably the last ride I went on) seem like a walk in the park. All the money that I raise will be going straight to the Sadie Rose Clifford Appeal as I will be paying for my skydive myself!

I will upload the video and photos once I have completed the skydive, I am sure that the footage will be worth a watch (and a donation in itself) and may include tears, screams and a lot of nervous chatter!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
