Story

Katie, Zoe, Vince and Matt will be transforming into their favourite superhereos for one day only as they take part in  a 10K sponsored run along Hove seafront to raise money for http://www.hammerout.co.uk/ a charity that plays an important role for Stephen and Dianne Wild.
On Sunday 16th May on Hove Seafront the 'fab four' will be donning their tights and wearing their superhero pants for the run - a sight not to be missed!! http://www.heroesrun.org.uk/

Wednesday 24th February:
So the training is in progress and going well by all accounts, zoe and matt are pounding the streets of portsmouth with buggy in tow and Vince has been getting up at the crack of dawn and running around the park......sponsorship is also looking good!

The superheroes are still undecided about their costumes and so some careful planning is to be put into place over the next few weeks and serous considerations around the issues re tights and chafing need to be taken.....Dianne Wild recommends vaseline....watch this space for more updates....

Tuesday 4th May
Well, we have to come clean about something. The Chippings are letting the side down....Vince has been having problems with his back and is unable to take part in this run (i think that you all know about his medical history re slipped discs etc).....and then Katie went and got herself pregnant so neither can do this! We are very sorry to those who have sponsored us however please be assured that the Gills are fighting fit and have been training and are ready to take part and raise the money for Hammer Out.......Go Zoe and Matt.....

Zoe, over to you....
Its been 3 months since I (Zoe) started my training and think I am just about ready to go for it! I have not done the full 10k yet, but I will do my best on the day even if Matt is dragging me along by my cape!! Matt has been doing circuits and playing a lot of football - does this count!!?? We have no costumes as yet, so any ideas gratefully received!!!

Katie and Vince don't get away with it that lightly- they have to look after George and Henry while we're running!!!! I'm not sure whats more hardwork!

Thanks to everyone who has donated so far!!

Tuesday 17th May
