Sense is the UK's largest organisation offering support to deafblind people and their families. Established in 1955 as a parent's support group, Sense now offers a range of services - including, advice, housing, education and practical help to children and adults who are both deaf and blind.

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

I ran the 2008 Flora Marathon on 13 April for a charity for deaf and blind people, called "Sense". It is a great charity, and I have had an opportunity to see for myself how it really helps families and their children affected by this tragic condition.

Please make a donation, if you are able, however small, and help me reach my fundraising target, every little helps and really means a lot. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: "Sense" - National Deafblind and Rubella Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
