You may ask, why is a straight, cis-female want to raise money for an LGBT Charity?
Well whilst some may argue LGBT people are now equal in law, Stonewall and I know there’s still so much left to do. They need your help changing hearts and minds in order to create a world where all lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people can live and love freely without fear of persecution.
I am, a straight ally, a trans ally, and just like my company name, I am an authentic ally. I am a friend walking alongside those who face discrimination, inequality and hardship. I rejoice in the good times, challenge the bad by choosing not to be a bystander.
I have worked with Stonewall with my work at Essex Community rehabilitation company and now with my own company Authentic Ally. Their research, advice and guidance is simply outstanding. The support they give to the LGBT community is awesome too! Please help their work by sponsoring me!
