The time has come for me to cut off these dreads - its been 5 years. As an incentive to actually do this (because I can't quite believe its a good idea and am really quite scared) I'm going to raise some money for Friends of the Earth, a charity I have long supported and think does really great work for protecting the future of our environment.

At 5pm Mountain Standard Time (or midnight GMT) on Saturday the 8th March they will be shaven off. Yes, shaven off. I will be sending pictures round to all those that sponsor me so you can all enjoy having a laugh at how silly I look with no hair! Good job I am in a snowboard resort because I can get away with wearing a hat all the time...
