Thanks to your generosity I will be officially bald by the end of the day on Saturday 8 Dec!  However, I've realised I know a lot of people with more money than I thought, so I'm upping the target to £5000.  Please pass this email on to anyone you think may be generous enough to spare a few quid for a fantastic cause!

Hi Everyone,

As many of you know, I have been losing the hair on one half of my head for the last 3 months as a result of the radiotherapy I have had (see photo!!!).  As I am now officially 'half bald' the time has come to do something about it.

And that's where you come in!  I have had all my radio and ongoing chemotherapy at Christies and it's a charity that needs your support.  So if you wonderful people help me raise £500 for this worthwhile cause, then I'll take a razor to the hairy side of my head - creating a whole, new, completely bald me! 

Please dig deep and sponsor me online.  Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Christie's will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Don't feel like you should hold back once we reach the target.  I'd love it if you were even more generous than I have given you credit for - I am going to be bald as a coot after all and that's got to be worth a few quid!

Needless to say I will be providing photographic evidence once the deed is done so dig deep for a great cause.
