Story
Hi Everyone,
WE DID IT!!! Today, 7TH October 2010 we completed our 12,000ft sky dive and it was AMAZING!!!
Thank you to everyone who has donated money to this cause and we certainly enjoyed our method of fund raising that's for sure :o)
Please keep donating to this wonderful charity, even though we have done the jump, we would still appreciate every little penny that you have to help Medical Aid Films.
I decided that I wanted to raise money for a charity called Medical Aid Films. They use visual aids and teaching methods to train healthcare professionals in developing countries, in the hope that it will reduce maternal and neonatal deaths.
It is such a good cause and I feel very passionate about trying to help this small charity make a difference in every way they can.
So myself and Amy are doing (DID) a skydive to try and raise money for MAF! It is booked for 7th October and with that date moving ever closer we need as much support and donations as we can get!
Amy and I am flying over to Lusaka on 8th October to work as student midwives for our elective placement. At the hospital I am going to in Lusaka, 10 babies die every day and 8 mothers die a month. If everyone can reach into their pockets and pull out their pennies we might be able to make a difference in places like this!
We will also be taking teaching aids out with us to Lusaka and creating a documentary/video diary whilst we are out there for Medical Aid Films so watch this space!!!
Please donate whatever you can to this wonderful charity... every little helps!!!
THANK YOU! XXX
