26 MILES FOR MIND

Edinburgh Marathon 2013 · 26 May 2013 ·
After several long and painful conversations, long and painful physio sessions and a short and very painful jog today, I've decided to listen to good advice and pull out of marathon next weekend, very sad times, but 3 out of 4 races and over £1000 raised ain't bad right?!
HUGE thankyous to all my incredible sponsorers, you're all heroises to me and my marvellous charity Mind! xx
**************
I'm running 4 races across the UK this year, all in aid of Mind- the Mental Health Charity.
I've completed three half-marathons so far, with the big one left to go.
I've run the Anglesey Half in Wales, the Coll Island Half in Scotland and Run to the Beat in London, England.
After having to pull out of the Edinburgh marathon, I'm now running the Causeway Coastal Marathon, along the Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland instead.
You can find me at www.justgiving.com/hannahmccallmind and tweet me encouragement @HannahMinds
Any support you can offer would be much appreciated- hot tips for mile 23, shouting and/or banner waving on the day, or a few pennies to help Mind continue to support people and their families through mental health problems- and seeing as 1 in 4 of us will have a mental health problem in any given year, the chances are you already know someone who could use the help of an organisation like Mind.
Thanks so much to all my well-wishers and sponsors so far, I've taken to chanting your names as a sort of encouraging mantra when the going gets tough on training runs- it means a lot to have your support xx
