My story

Hello and thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

Last year I was lucky enough (many will disagree) to run my first marathon in my home city of London, and in doing so you helped me raise a wonderful amount of money for The British Red Cross. A charity that is very close to my heart.

This year I'm doing it again (nutter I hear you cry), but this time it is merely training for the big event, crossing Greenland. This summer team "Trans Greenland Dog Crossing 2009" will telemark our way from west to east. For 25 or so days we will be skiing for 7 hours a day then camping in sub-zero temperatures all under the midnight sun. We are lucky enough to have 3 dog teams to carry our food and tents, but unlike some expeditions they don't pitch them and have the kettle on for when you arrive at camp.

Once again I'm hoping to raise lots of money for The British Red Cross and this is where you come in. With your generous support my legs will go further and faster and in doing so help so many people around the world have a chance at a better life.

Please give whatever you can, in this difficult financial time I appreciate every penny spared.
