On Sunday 28th September I'm running a 10k race in September to raise money for a great charity called Hope and Aid Direct, a charity that collects and delivers humanitarian aid directly into the hands of those who need it.  Those of you who know me well will understand that 10k will be a challenging task for me but I'm training hard to make sure I'm ready!

Hope and Aid Direct takes two convoys of trucks loaded with humanitarian aid, to Kosovo at least twice a year and our next convoy is in October.  When you consider all the members of the charity are volunteers, this is a daunting task. In six just months they need to raise all the funds required to deliver this aid.
