*** I've done it!!  On Sunday I ran the Berlin Marathon in 5 hrs and 5 mins, which I am very pleased with as it  turned out to be a very very hot day!!  Thank you to everyone who has sponsored me so far!!!

This September I will be taking part in the Berlin Marathon in memory of my Grandad and to raise money for Pilgrims Hospices in East Kent.  

I have chosen to fundraise for this charity due to the excellent treatment and support my Grandad and family received last year from the Pilgrims Hospice in Ashford.  The Pilgrims Hospice is a brilliant charity, which offers free of charge one-to-one care and support to those with life-limiting illnesses.  However it relies heavily on fundraising to be able to provide this level of care. 

As you may know I was previously a non-runner and I have only started running this year (with the help of my friend Jo) specifically for this marathon.  So it would be great if you could sponsor me to help me reach my target, which will help to support a really worthwhile charity.
