The London Marathon is here  Sunday the 26th of April. I am excited and nervous at the same time.

They say it’s in the blood…..Kenyans have run since time immemorial. So here is another Kenyan running theLondonmarathon (though an amateur). It is my first attempt to run (jog, walk, skip etc…..) a marathon.

Although all the Kenyan athletes running this year’s marathon will be probably be doing it to earn some money, (something I might consider doing, given the current state of affairs in the world’s economy….the money these athletes make is surreal), I will be doing this to raise some money for RedR. RedR is a charity that trains aid workers to work in places struck by disaster and being a RedR staff member, I know how important the work that RedR does and how it has helped rebuild the lives of those affected by disasters.

So if you believe that this Kenyan will complete the marathon and in good time (12hrs max!), then please support her
