Thanks for taking the time to visit our "Shirt for Hurt" JustGiving page.
Joining the “Shirt of Hurt” campaign which was originally started by Radio 5 live DJ, Danny Baker, solicitors and staff at HardingEvans in Newport have started a “Just Giving” page specifically to encourage clients and contacts to take up the challenge. To help us launch the fundraiser, we have enlisted the support of Sam Warburton, Wales Rugby Captain, a client from our sports law division.
Sam says “When my friends at HardingEvans asked me to wear a “Shirt of Hurt” for the day I jumped at the chance to support Sport Relief. As a fiercely loyal Tottenham Hotspur fan, the wearing of an Arsenal shirt for a day will not come easy but I am hoping that making this sacrifice will encourage others to not only join in the campaign by either wearing their own “Shirt of Hurt” or sponsoring colleagues and friends who are brave enough to take up the challenge.”
Joy Phillips, Practice Director at HardingEvans explains “Many of our colleagues are huge sports fans and the opportunity to raise funds on the back of some light hearted banter between us was too good to miss! Rather than keep all the fun to ourselves, we thought we would challenge other professionals and clients from our networks to join in to raise as much as we can for such a good cause.”
Send us your pictures and we will post them so we can all share in the fun!
