My passion for running began aged 11 and through sport, I have learned the impact that hard work and commitment can have on performance and this has pushed me to train harder and harder.

This passion and determination is what has led me to take on the challenge of a lifetime, to circumnavigate the world on foot.

To be running in support of the British Red Cross is inspiring. They do some amazing work globally with vulnerable groups, many of whom are found in countries which I will be passing through.The knowledge that I am raising money for this charity has been a huge motivator for me already, and I am sure it will continue to spur me on massively over the next few months.
