Thank you for taking the time to visit this page.
I am running this event with many others to raise awareness of congenital heart disease and money for a deserving ward.
My partner has a Congenital heart disease, Giant right atrium, but our daughter was born with an undiagnosed CHD, Truncus arterious type 2 and a hole in her heart, which she had open heart surgery for at 2 weeks old at southampton general.
She is yet to have more operations in the future and will be under the care of the wonderful staff on ocean ward, who do an amazing job day in and day out.

Congenital heart diseases are one of the biggest killers in infants and babies, more than any cancer or illness. Unfortunatly there is not enough knowledge out there of CHDs, so people don't know the signs of one.
I will spend my life trying to help raise awareness of CHDs and making sure no family goes through what we did with our daughter, we are lucky to have her here today.
