At a routine 20 week scan baby Harley (bens cousin and bayleys baby brother) was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect (CHD) called hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS). This means that harley will be born with only the right side of his heart and will need to undergo a number of operations starting from birth.

Unfortunatly most people are unaware that the number 1 cause of death from a birth defect is from a CHD and that 8/1000 babies will be born with a form of CHD.

Ben and Bayley would like to help raise awareness of this and whilst doing so help to raise money for a charity called Little Hearts Matter. Little Hearts Matter is a charity that provides support and information to families like ours who have children that are born with only half a working heart. To do this the boys will both be shaving their hair into mohawks and dying them red and blue (CHD awareness colours) at the end of july.
