TOFS offers support to people born with Tracheo-Oesophageal Fistula (TOF) and/or Oesophageal Atresia (OA). These are rare congenital malformaltions of the gullet and windpipe. Immediate neonatal surgery is a treatment, not a complete cure. We are UK-based and receive no public-sector support at all.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Our daughter Harriet is the bravest little girl we know. She has had multiple operations to repair her wind pipe and food pipe. She was born unable to swallow or breathe and she spent the first 7.5 months in hospital.

She still cannot swallow properly so is fed by a tube and recently spent another 6 weeks in hospital  because she had 3 holes in her windpipe.

If you've had the privilege to meet Harriet you will know that she is the happiest little girl in t he world. Being ill has not affected her and she takes it all in her stride.

Gary and I donated our wedding presents to the hospital who looked after Harriet, but now we want to raise awareness of her condition.

One of our friends Mel Booth has offered to run the Accrington 10k to raise funds - a big thank you to her.

So please dig deep and donate now!
