On 18th May I did manage to Walk the Wight (well, hobbled, certainly in the latter stages, might be more accurate) - 26-and-a-bit miles across the Island.  I do quite like walking - towards the fridge, a drink or a good meal.  Great distances over vertiginous countryside was another matter altogether.  But the Island's Hospice is a wonderful organisation and it is a marvellous cause.  The weather was kind, the atmosphere wonderful and I HAD to keep going to keep faith with all my marvellous and generous donors.   Thank you all for your generosity so far.
