My personal message:

Welcome to my Just Giving Page and thank you so much for your support.

In December of this year, I will be embarking on a ten day trek to the 5896m summit of Mount Killimanjaro in Tanzania. I am doing this as part of a team of about 20 in order to raise money for Engineers Against Poverty (EAP).

Engineering touches almost every aspect of the lives of people around the world and has a fundamental role in meeting the challenge of eliminating world poverty. EAP works to promote sustainable development. Their programme is based on two key propositions: First, that unlocking the skills and resources of the private sector represents one of the single greatest opportunities to step-up the fight against poverty. Secondly, that in some circumstances, it is possible to secure social improvements through mechanisms that also deliver commercial advantages to the companies involved.

We have the resources, the technology and the know-how to eliminate extreme poverty so let's do it!

Please support EAP by sponsoring me now!
THANK YOU.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Engineers Against Poverty will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
