Story

Thanks to everyone for cheering for us!

Our Charity
We’re running for International China Concern (ICC) a registered charity that partner with the Chinese government to develop social welfare for the abandoned and disabled. Although China
is experiencing rapid economic growth, there remains a deficit in social welfare for the disadvantaged, especially the disabled. The funds raised from this run will change lives.

Rich (Dad) is on ICC’s Board and I’ve volunteered and worked with the children in China and sponsor a boy named Jun Jun.

In Training
The idea to run was a joke at first, but we've decided to actually give it a go since I’m living in this year. The run is 21 km on both the Great Wall and the surrounding countryside. Those who have seen the wall will know it’s very hilly and there are a huge number of stairs!

Here's How a Donation Could Help
£15 could feed and clothe a child like Jun Jun for one month. £25 could buy materials for ICC’s sheltered workshop. £50 could help pay for a newly abandoned child’s medical assessment.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us. International China Concern will receive your money faster and, if you are a
taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support!
Please pass the URL of our Sponsorship Page to all your friends, family, contacts, and anyone you randomly meet and encourage them to make a donation. Cheers, Chloe and Rich!
