<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>Having run 2 marathons before, I really wanted to try and do London.</p> <p>I've raised a lot of money in the past for Cancer charities after my father passed away and felt if I did get a place at the London Marathon, that I would try and help a smaller charity. &nbsp;If you have children then you've probably heard all about the NCT. &nbsp;</p> <p>For those that haven't, its a charity that supports expectant and new parents through classes and information. &nbsp;I personally found it very useful to attend the classes and I made some great friends.</p> <p>However, I didn't know much else about the NCT until my wife started training to be an NCT teacher, I have since discovered through her volunteering and seeing the vast amount of work required to train teachers, that this charity really needs support.</p> <p>The NCT is the UK's largest parents' charity and has been going for over 50 years. &nbsp;Every year they help over 1 million parents, &nbsp;offering information and support. &nbsp;The charity also works to improve maternity care and better services for new parents. &nbsp;As independent experts in matters relating to pregnancy, birth and parenthood the NCT often advises the government, royal colleges, private sector bodies and other charities.</p> <p>I hope you can add even a small amount and give a charity a chance that isnt top of the usual lists of donations!!</p> <p>Many thanks, Harry</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
