Ian Roberts, Andy's brother-in-law, died in November 2010, age 41, four years after being diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour. After surgery and treatment he lived bravely with his tumour and enjoyed the remainder of his life to the full. He always maintained a positive attitude and kept his spirits up with his abiding motto of "it is what it is, you can't change it, so let's get on with it".(http://braintumourtrust.co.uk/helping-us/groups/ian-roberts-friends-of-sdbtt/)

Being diagnosed with a brain tumour is both frightening and uncertain, and we hope to support the Trust in its efforts to raise awareness and pioneer research into a cure.
