Salaam and hello,

Last year, two rival internet forums got together for a charity football match. On a cold February day, 22 men kicked a ball around a muddy field, and alhumdu-lillah, they raised over £1,000 for a worthy cause! This year, they want to hold another match, but make it a bigger and better event for the whole family to enjoy.

Have a Ball @ Haverstock Family Fun Day will feature a charity match between Network Bangla and Asian Forum, as well as bouncy castles, henna and beauty, games, food provided by world famous TKC Restaurant.

Guest speakers Sheikh Feisal Bodi (Islam Channel) and Rizwan Hussain (Channel S) will enlighten the public and head a fundraising appeal, while nasheed artists Asif Choudhury (Iqra TV) and Naseeha will provide halal entertainment. The money raised will be used to build a medical centre in Borguna, Bangladesh a village that was destroyed by Cyclone Sidr in 2007. With your help we will provide a much needed medical facility in one of the poorest parts of Bangladesh.
