Our hospitals serve 900,000 local people. Whilst the NHS provides funding for the necessities, King George & Queen’s Hospitals Charity funds projects which enhance the hospital experience for patients, visitors and staff at both Queen’s Hospital, Romford and King George Hospital, Ilford.

Story

Thanks for visiting our Lifeline Appeal fundraising page...

The Men of Havering Hockey Club will Attempt The World Record for:
The Longest Game of Indoor Hockey” on
Saturday 6th &
Sunday 7th December
at: Hornchurch Sports Centre, Harrow Lodge Park, Hornchurch, Essex.

Our aim is to beat the current World Record of 26 hours and 20 minutes for a continuous game of indoor hockey.

All monies raised from advertising throughout the borough will be in aid of the Lifeline Appeal. The LifeLine appeal has been set up to raise £300,000 for anessential medical equipment for Queen’s Hospital, Romford.

The money will buy Stereotactic cancer-treating equipment. The machine will prove invaluable in the fight against cancer, pinpointing abnormal cells in the brain and beaming X-rays in to destroy them.

PLEASE COME AND SEE US PLAY AND SUPPORT US FROM 10am on Sunday 7th December at Hornchurch Sports Centre, Harrow Lodge Park.
