Who?
First of all thank you in advance if I've asked and you have sponsored me before
, it's a challenging time to be donating money at the moment and I appreciate whatever you can give. If you can't quite make a donation at the moment then please consider helping out with a guest post on the blog, lending an hour of your time to some of my fund-raising events or just spreading the word. To encourage you to donate my employer has generously offered to provide free technical services to those who personally donate more than £100, find out about this here. If you've arrived at this page and don't know me then find out a bit more below.

What?
My first foray back into running began in 2008 with a 10k, progressing to my first marathon in Paris 2010. Both times I managed to raise quite a bit of money for charity. Now with partner in crime Jack I will be attempting the challenge of the Paris and then the London Marathon on 10th and 17th of April 2011, a double marathon you say?!

Why?

My fund-raising has been driven by personal losses of loved ones variously to dementia and cancer but it is also driven by a wider desire to help those vulnerable members of our society who do not benefit from the kind of support and generosity that I receive in life. This is why I am running for the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability who do amazing work with people affected by neurological diseases or damage to the brain. The people in care homes, hospitals and specialist organisations up and down the country are too easily forgotten and hopefully this running folly will help that situation a tiny bit.

Please check out the blog, get in contact and donate whatever you can.

Thank you,

Haydn
