14 years ago a very special little boy, Michael Jagger went to be with the Angels.

Since then I have been involved with the children’s charity “When you Wish upon a Star” who granted Michael’s wish and who do so for many other children that suffer from life threatening
illness.

I am honoured to be part of an amazing team who take 100 children to Lapland every year. To see their faces on this magical day is something I never forget. For one day only they can forget about hospital trips etc and enjoy a day, tailor made, just for them, including having their own one to one time with Father Christmas - truly amazing!

Over the years I have done numerous sponsored challenges ranging from a Bunge jump, "It’s a Knockout", Running and a Dragon Boat Race.

This year is no exception and on the 20th July I am going be competing in the Great Manchester Swim at Salford Quays & Kate has agreed to join me in this challange.  This is a very special day as Michael would have been 22, so I would like to do him proud. In addition to this on the 18th August, we are once again entering a team in the Dragon Boat Race, so this web page is for both events.

I know times are tough and we appreciate that everyone is trying to raise money for their own dedicated Charity but could we please ask for a small donation as this would make so much difference to all the courageous girls and boys and their families, that When You Wish Upon A Star aim to help.
