Wow, what an experience.
The jump took place as planned on Saturday 5th June! Thank you to everyone who has supported us.

Suddenly on Saturday 14th November 2009, Stephen Myers was taken from our lives aged just 28, leaving behind nothing but broken hearts. Luckily this amazing man filled our lives with laughter and memories that we will cherish forever.
Stephen died as a result of multiple injuries in Northallerton Frairage Hospital later that evening. His passenger and best friend Jason Pickard was left with extensive injuries, but we are proud to say is on the long road to recovery.
The nurses and staff did everything they could to save Stephen, but sadly his injuries were just to severe. Exceptional care was given not only to Stephen and Jason, but also to ourselves in the hours following Stephen's death.
We have decided (Hayley Myers - Stephen's little sister, and Lizzy Rose - Stephen's partner) to, as a thank you, raise money for this well deserving unit in Stephen's memory. To do this we will be hurling ourselves out of a plane and plummeting approximately 15,000 feet!!!!
On Saturday 5th June we will be facing our fears in honour of Stephen and taking part in a tandem skydive. The jumps have been funded by ourselves, so ALL of the money raised will go to the A&E department. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference and help us reach our target.
We look forward to updating you on our challenge, and bets are being taken on the amount of bad language that will inevitabley come from Hayley!!!
Many Thanks
Hayley and Lizzy
