Hello,

Later this year I will be commence a challenging 10 day adventure trekking the Great Wall of China. It will be a very physically demanding trek with around 7 hours walking per day over varied terrain. Parts of the path are steep, and the terraces soon give way to rocky hillsides scattered with scrubs. I will also be required to encounter heavens ladder a steep cliff of over 200 steps leading up the cliff face. I will be completing a 16 week training programme to prepare me for the challenge.

The funds raised will be donated to Compton Hospice. It is a beautiful and loving home for the terminally ill. The staff are wonderful people who care for the terminally ill and support families through a very difficult time.
