Since its launch in 1988, Red Nose Day has become a British institution. It’s a time when people across the country get together and fundraise at home, school and work to support people living incredibly tough lives, and has raised over £1.3 billion to date.

Story

The Lion and Swan is the most haunted pub in Cheshire. For comic relief 3 naïve comedians, Hayley Ellis (Salford City Radio, XFMs Chick with Balls, Victoria “Jordy” Cook and Rachael Fairburn  and one half of the Chawner Family (xfactor/Lorraine Kellys Big fat Challenge) will be staying 18th March (Comic relief night) for your entertainment.  Armed with a camcorder and a Dictaphone their girlish screams and japes will be recorded and uploaded all in the aid of charity.  Can they last the night? (Bear in mind Jordy is scared of her own toenails) Will Emma Chawner sing the spirits away? We will be spending part of the evening in the cellar.  It was closed in the 1970s after the manager was brutually murdered during a break in and has remained pretty much untouched since that time. The area feels particularly unpleasant so watch us suffer in the aid of charity and donate now!

Now if that wasnt enough Ellis and Jordy will also be attending the Buccaneers Ice Hockey club on Saturday the 19th March and be in goal at the Blackburn Arena when the Hockey club try their hand at Target Practice! Hockey putts will be fired at every area of their delicate frames.

So please dig deep and donate now.
