As you can see, I have reached my target for the worldwide Raleigh funds, but more help is always needed. I plan to use any more funds I raise to spend directly on the projects I am involved in.  So if you do want to donate, then I'd be grateful if you do this directly to me. I have already bought my ticket, paid for medical expenses etc., had the jabs, so am committed to going!

 To enable me to work effectively, Raleigh has more than one resident manager in Costa Rica who will have talked to communities in Costa Rica and Nicaragua to establish EXACTLY what WILL HELP THEM MOST. Raleigh is a charity and depends on donations to carry out the work. My role will be to maximise the experience for  the volunteers, (who are carefully selected and include disadvantaged young people as well as people on gap years) help them develop their own skills and progress the projects.
