Hope Challenge · 4 March 2009

We believe decent homes are the heartbeat of strong communities and so we also fight for land rights for women, upgrade urban slums and informal settlements, improve access to water and sanitation, and help communities become more resilient in the face of natural disasters.

Story

Thanks for visiting the HBF and HBM fundraising page.

The Home Builders Federation (HBF) and House Builder Media (HBM) have entered the Hope Challenge in aid of Habitat for Humanity. Habitat for Humanity builds safe, decent homes for families living in poverty. By participating in the 2 day Hope Challenge this June we are raising funds in support of the 2 billion people living in poverty housing around the world. The Challenge involves:

  • 2 days and 2 nights in the great outdoors
  • Mental and physical team challenges
  • 1 overnight shelter to build, and sleep in
  • 1000m of hill ascent & 20 miles of trekking
  • A balance of fitness, strategy and team work

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Habitat for Humanity gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!
