Each year during Easter week HCPT takes around 2,000 children with disabilities,special needs or social needs on a pilgrimage holiday to Lourdes. The children come from all walks of life and may belong to any religion - or indeed none at all. The holiday features visits to the Grotto and outings to the local cafes and villages high up in the French Pyrenees.

Group 148 is based in Southport and aims to take 8-10 children each year; the cost of one child for next Easter is £550 each.

As a group we will undertake several fundraising activites:

9th December 2006 - Bag Packing, Asda Skelmersdale

17th December 2006 - Carol singing with mince pies and mulled wine

17th March 2007 - Irish Night

Paul and Emma Half Marathon

Cheese and Wine Evening, Raffles, Quizes plus other events.....
