Our ski journey to the Pole from an equivalent Latitude where Sir Ernest Shackleton had to turn back just 97 1/2 miles short of his goal in 1909 has been a most amazing experience.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-autospace: ideograph-numeric; punctuation-wrap: simple;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">It is impossible to explain how it was but I have been very privileged to have been with David Hempleman-Adams and Rune Geldnes who have the ability of encouraging people to do things they would never do.</span></p>

He is dedicating his journey to Headway Oxfordshire, who provide support to anyone affected by an acquired brain injury.</span></p>
