Hearing Dogs for Deaf People trains dogs to alert deaf people to important and life-saving sounds such as the smoke alarm, alarm clock, intruder alarms and baby monitors. These amazing dogs also help deaf people to leave loneliness behind by providing love, companionship and emotional support.

Story

Rally drivers Jayne and Amanda have teamed-up together to raise money for the Hearing Dogs for Deaf People charity and promote deaf awareness by competing on the Jim Clark National Rally together on May 25 -26 in Jayne's 1400cc MG ZR car. Jayne will drive while Amanda will co-drive.

Jayne was born hard of hearing and hears through the use of digital hearing aids, but it has never stopped her achieving in life or affected her work and her dream to be a rally driver. Together, we want to send this important message out to other people who are hard of hearing as well as raise money for charity through our sport. Jayne has supported the Hearing Dogs for Deaf People for several years now.

Jayne and Amanda, under their fundraising campaign name of Hear and Now: Rally Girls Raising Deaf Awareness, want to raise as much money as possible for the Hearing Dogs. ALL MONEY DONATED WILL GO DIRECTLY TO THE CHARITY WITH NO MONEY BEING TAKEN OUT FOR EXPENSES so please be generous and sponsor us today via this page...
