Great North Swim and Great North Run · 12 September 2009

Thank you for visiting our page. We are the UK’s leading charity helping people to thrive after a brain injury. We provide innovative rehabilitation and ongoing support to ensure life after brain injury can be a life well lived.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page for The Disabilities Trust.  This year I have given myself a double challenge.  Not only am I taking part in the 13.1 mile Great North Run (20th Sept) but I am also participating in the Great North Swim  (a 1 mile swim in Lake Windermere) the week before the run on 12th Sept.

I am raising money for The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (a division of The Disabilities Trust) which provides vital help for people regaining the skills lost as a result of brain injury– whether caused by road accident, assault, stroke or illness.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.  Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate!

Please donate as much as you can, it will mean a lot to me, the Trust, the sufferers of brain injury and also their friends and families.

THANK YOU!
