Heather & John's Wedding Wish:

We visited Mali on holiday in December 2006/January 2007 and made it all the way to Timbuktu. On our way we visited the Dogon region - known for its dancing - see John's video http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=nUXIjE7En2Q

Many of you have asked what we would like for a wedding present - the truth is we're pretty well sorted (but John would like a 65" LCD TV!). However, alot of the children we saw in Mali would benefit from a few basic facilities. A small amount of money will go a long way in the Dogon region. Together we could all help - your gift would make both us and them happy.

To achieve this we've chosen a charity which works exclusively in the Dogon region of Mali and has a good record of delivering appropriate solutions (it has a turn over of about £170000 per year - so a few pounds will actually make a difference). See http://www.jolibatrust.org.uk/
