A few days ago I received a phone call offering me a charity place to run in this years London Marathon. Foolishly I accepted and now the training/panicking has started!!

I am running the London Marathon on the 13th April to raise money for Wessex Medical Research.

This really is a good cause, Wessex Medical Research support research into many conditons such as cancer, heart disease, asthma, leukaemia, Alzheimers and stroke. I'm sure many of you know someone who has suffered from one of these conditions, and with your help research could be done to find treatments or even cures.

I am hoping to run the 26 Mile 385 Yard course in under 5 hours and I aim to raise £2000  for Wessex Medical Research.
