The charity helps to reduce extreme poverty in the rural areas by increasing the productivity of working horses and donkeys through welfare and management training. It provides basic veterinary assistance, teaches in schools and to farmers groups, and provides scholarships for paravets at college level.

My story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

On November 8th we shall be holding our third annual horse and donkey shows to reward the people who take good care of their animals and to encourage those that need help and advice. It gives the farmers the perfect opportunity to visit the show, have veterinary treatment if necessary, purchase good harness from the trained harness makers and have their animals feet attended to. It is a fun day and we are seeking sponsorship for the running of the show and the prize money.

This is a wonderful way to do something very positive at very little cost to get one step closer to the elimination of extreme poverty and improved equine welfare in The Gambia, your help, however small, would be much appreciated.
