Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I  am running (or trying to run!) the Great Manchester Run on behalf of Epilepsy Research UK.
This charity is very personal to me - however I am only occasionally affected by seizures and always at night, the experience is awful (and cannot be clinically classified as epilepsy as they are too infrequent to monitor) but I could not imagine living with such a serious neurological condition in the way so many people do - more than 1 in 150 people suffer some form of epilepsy and many of the drugs used to cantrol the symptoms have nasty side effects, along with the general disruption of everyday life. This is why I feel Epilepsy Research UK needs support in order to develop a greater understanding of epilepsy in a hope at better control the of the potentially fatal symptoms of epilepsy.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Epilepsy Research UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

About the charity
