Thank you for visiting my fundraising page - we are still eagerly raising funds even though we've reached our minimum target so please continue to support Maggie's Centres. NEWSFLASH on exciting upcoming fundraising events.... A Great Wall bring and buy sale held on 26th August at Portobello Library made a fantastic £519 with some extra amounts still arriving...THANK YOU to everyone who attended. A few previous events... A fantastic PINK DAY was held by Carolyn from Portobello Library on August 12th and brought in more than £500. Thanks to everyone who came along, especially Jim in his pink dress. People who weren't there won't know if I speak the truth... Mrs Brown's Hoedown - A great night out was had on 3rd June at St Phillips Church Hall in Portobello with music by the fabulous Belle Star Band. More than £1,000 was made, thanks to all who came along. Watch this space for more events to come and THANKS TO ALL for the fantastic support so far. Let us know if you have an idea for a fundraising event, we need lots of help! Please come to a fundraising event and/or dig deep and sponsor us online.
