So as some of you know, my brother signed us up to do a Tough Mudder event this August. It's a 12 mile long obstacle course based on military training, including lots of climbing, tunnels, ice baths, heights and well, mud. 

While doing this, I'd love to raise some money for Alzheimers Soceity. Last April, I lost my Uncle Kev to an incredibly rare form of dementia known as Picks Disease. This is something very close to my heart and I want to raise awareness of this and help fund the support, care and research the charity provides. I haven't set myself a target because I'm hoping to raise whatever I can, and that you guys can donate as much or as little as possible. Every penny will go straight to the charity and helps to fund research into the many different types of dementia to improve knowledge of causes, future care and possibly cures. To date, it's unknown what causes Picks disease.

I'm really rubbish with words, but this does mean an awful lot to me and my family, and I've been truly overwhelmed by the amount of gtfc supporters that have spoken to me and donated; you all know what a great footballer he was, and I think this is the least I can do in his memory.
