This year, on the 12th June, will be the 10th Anniversary of the death of our son Callum.  As many of you will remember, Callum was born with a genetic condition known as Type 1 Spinal Muscular Atrophy. This is a degenerative muscle wasting condition and is usually fatal within the first two years of birth.  Sadly, Callum died a week after his first birthday, on 12th June 1999.

In order to mark this important occasion, I will be taking part in a fund-raising event, organised by the Jennifer Trust.  At  2.15pm on Saturday 13th June 2009, I will be abseiling, over 450 feet, down Guy's Hospital Tower, in Central London.  If you wish to sponsor me in this "leap of faith" please use this website to log your donations. All monies raised will go directly to the Jennifer Trust.
