The soldiers from Main Troop, 204 Signal Squadron, who are currently deployed in Afghanistan, are going to heave up the height of Mount Everest.

Mount Everest is 8,848 metres high!This means that for Main Troop to pull themselves up that distance they must complete 17,696 heaves in total, thats around 950 per person!

We are doing this in aid of the Royal British Legion and our OC Squadron will be completing the first heave on the 11/11/12 and we hope to complete the task within 2 weeks.
