Hello and thanks for visiting my fundraising page!
Those of you who know me well will be aware of my tendency to avoid practising sports whenever possible, so you may be wondering why I am taking part in a run... you'll be thinking: "that's not very Heidyish"...
...well, you may also know of my passion for social justice and of my interest to continue working for a peaceful Colombia even while living overseas: We owe it to all the good Colombians who struggle day by day.
I support COTA from my heart. Since I discovered this organisation and ran to their office to offer my help, I have been glad to know that somebody cares about the most disadvantaged children in my country. This is because I know that the children who have been neglected so far, have been easily recruited by the armed groups and continued to fuel la guerra boba that is hindering Colombia's development.
Please help COTA provide better opportunities for the most disadvantaged Children in and help them break apart from continuing the cycle of violence.
