On 6th July 2008 I will be taking part in my first (and very possibly last) 10K run with the aim of raising money for CAMFED International - a charity which sponsors the education of girls in Africa.  Further details on CAMFED International's work can be found on their website (www.camfed.org).

All donations, large and small, will be gratefully received since

- £25 will pay for one year's primary education;
- £75 will pay for one year's secondary education; and
- £100 will buy 13 pairs of shoes to help the girls walk to and from school every day.
