My story
Hello, and thanks for visiting this page.
I hope you clicked on through because you liked some of the videos on YouTube and want to make a little Christmas gift to a charity that I think is awesome and does brilliant work in my home town of London and all over the country. I've supported them since I was RAG chair at uni *cough* years ago, and this year I wanted to do something a bit more extravagant than just watch the direct debit leave my account once a month.
If you've no idea why this page exists, head over to http://tempuri.org/tempuri.html and take a look at the little music videos I've been uploading every day of December. The first few are quite simple. They will get more extravagant. Christmas Day is likely to involve my whole family. New Year's Eve is going to be a multi-tracked, multi-intrumental corker, worth waiting for I tell you.
I'm not suggesting that you throw half your salary at this page, especially not when people are doing incredible stuff like running marathons and jumping out of very high flying things for similar causes. But maybe if you liked one of my 31 December songs you might donate as much as you'd pay for a single track on iTunes (or any other fine purveyor of internet tunage)
I think that's about 79p nowadays. I'll double-check with the cool kids next time I see some of them.
So, that's it really. If 100 people donate that would be truly ace.
Hope you like the videos. Hope you enjoy donating. Hope you have a great Christmas and New Year.
Be well,
helen
PS - Here's the science bit:
"Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity."
Nifty, huh?

Thought I'd be the first 79p donor. Turns out there's a minimum of 2 quid. Now I've just come across as cheap. It's a minefield, this altruism lark.
