I am a GP and see many patients with Dementia, and the impact this has on their lives and that of their families. The population is ageing and we need to find out more through research, develop better treatments, and better care for the people affected. My mother died of Dementia 3 years ago.

The bike ride will be even more challenging as I'll be "stoker" on a tandem with Chris Dace who is raising money for Doctors of the World.
